Check out some of the great information that the Canadian government and researchers have put together as well:
Canada's Department of Fish and Oceans has lots of information, including some video clips and photos.

There is also a great outreach site through the Bamfield Community Huu-ay-aht Abalone Project, complete with resources for teachers and plenty of media.

Janna Nichols has graciously provided photography of pinto abalone for our outreach poster and for this website. Please visit her own site to view more Pacific Northwest underwater photography.

Janna is also known for her work teaching REEF courses and educating Pacific Northwest divers about local fauna, like abalone.
